Milk Riders

Brazil has over 200 milk banks sprinkled throughout the country, the largest network of donors and recipients in the world. Firefighters and mailmen in Brazil pick up and drop off donor milk in their daily routes. Now, the Milk Riders, a female motorcycle group in New York is helping the New York milk bank to transport milk to babies who need it. Sometimes they collect frozen milk from depots where lactating women drop off their extra milk. Other times pasteurized milk is delivered to hospitals and individual families. The Milk Riders have delivered thousands of ounces of donor milk to babies throughout New York. Watch this inspiring video of Milk Riders in Action:)
